Payne Rowlett is a two-person company started by Larry
Payne and Martha Rowlett in Houston in 1996.
Larry Payne had previously worked as a self-employed advertising
photographer for 25 years in Houston. Martha Rowlett had studied
architecture at Texas A&M. After graduation she acquired 17 years
experience in computer graphics working with a well known
architectural illustrator in Houston.
Martha's skill at building 3D models and Larry's eye for photo-
graphic composition and lighting enabled Payne Rowlett to
begin to work on large projects from the start.
Projects in the early years included developments in Spain and
Mexico City for Hines. Large industrial projects in the oil and gas
sector include projects for Conoco Phillips, Exxon Mobil, Shell,
Chevron, Black & Veatch and Cheniere Energy.
